A careless word may kindle strife；

a cruel word may wreck a life；

If you feel that it hurts you，

The most glorious moment in your life

are not the socalled days of success,

It hurts to love someone and not be loved in return.

But what is more painful is to love someone

and never find the courage to let that person know how you feel.

A sad thing in life is

when you meet someone who means a lot to you，

only to find out in the end that

it was never meant to be and you just have to let go.

生命中令人悲伤的一件事是你遇到了一个对你来说很重要的人，

因此你不得不放手。

Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage，

over timidity of the appetite ,

for adventure over the love of ease.

This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 .

Nobody grows old merely by a number of years .

We grow old by deserting our ideals.

They perfect nature, and are perfected by experience:

for natural abilities are like natural plants,

that need pruning by study;

and studies themselves do give forth directions too much

at large,

except they be bounded in by experience.

读书弥补天性的缺陷，经验又弥补读书的不足：

需要学习予以整枝培育；

读书自身无边无际，

需要经验予以制约。

For expert men can execute, and perhaps judge of particulars,

one by one; but the general counsels,

To spend too much time in studies, is sloth;

is the humour of a scholar.

读书费时过多，无异于懒惰；装饰之用过滥，显得矫揉造作；

办事只知照本宣科，实为书呆子气。

In our efforts to adjust differences of opinion

we should be free from intolerance of passion，

and our judgements should be unmoved by alluring phrases

and unvexed by selfish interests.

在我们努力协调意见的分歧时，

应当抛弃偏执与意气用事；

我们的判断不应当被花言巧语蒙骗，

也不应被个人私利扰乱。

I think there is one main reason people don't follow their passion: fear.

Fear of how others will react, fear of failure,

and fear that they can't do it themselves.

I think the first part is for people to realize that

they can conquer their fear.

You will fail at times

and others will think you are crazy at times,

but if you believe that

you will succeed then you ultimately will.
