Love is an activity, not a passive affect;

it is a "standing in",not a "falling for".

In the most general way,

the active character of love can be described by stating that

love is primarily giving, not receiving.

"Enthusiasm" comes from the Greek and means "God within."

And what is God within is but an abiding sense of love

-- proper love of self (self-acceptance) and,

from that, love of others.

Look for the beauty around you--

in nature, in others, in yourself--

and believe in the love of friends, family, and humankind.

You can find love in a smile or a helping hand,

in a thoughtful gesture or a kind word.

It is all around, if you just look for it.

Enthusiastic people can turn a boring drive into an adventure,

Happiness is the way. So treasure every moment that you have. And remember that time waits for no one.
